Report a bug or suggest a feature
Two ways:
- Email us (above) — best if you’re not a developer.
- Open a GitHub issue: VahanDrnoyan/KnowledgeUniverse/issues
When you open an issue, a short form will prompt you for the details we need (macOS version, app version, steps to reproduce).
Before you reach out
It helps if you include:
- macOS version ( → About This Mac)
- App version (Knowledge Universe → Settings → About)
- What you tried, and what you expected vs. what happened
- A screenshot or screen recording if something looks wrong
Also check that you’re on the latest version — open the Mac App Store and look for updates.
Subscriptions, billing & refunds
Billing and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us:
- Request a refund: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Manage or cancel: → System Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Knowledge Universe
- Tiers & features: see the App Store listing.
Your data is never deleted if a subscription lapses — you drop to the Free tier and everything stays accessible.
Your data & privacy
- Knowledge maps are stored locally on your Mac.
- Premium can sync across your Macs via iCloud (CloudKit Private Database).
- If you bring your own AI key (OpenAI/Anthropic), it’s stored in the macOS Keychain — we never see it or your queries.
- No trackers, no ads, no data selling.
